About the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Foundation
The Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Foundation fosters economic and community prosperity in the greater Arlington area.
To achieve our mission, the Foundation raises and renders financial support for community projects. As identified through the Chamber’s strategic objectives, the Foundation supports education and workforce development, redevelopment and revitalization, community planning and general well-being initiatives.
Nonprofit Professional Development
Nonprofit Community Connection Collab. is a monthly virtual, open discussion on relevant topics for the nonprofit community. These discussions encourage you to bring your thoughts and experiences to this informal, 1-hour zoom call designed to help you learn best practices from the Chamber's nonprofit community. Topics will be different each month but will build off of one another.
The Nonprofit Advantage are quarterly workshops designed to equip nonprofit leaders with the tools and strategies needed to effectively partner with the business community. By leveraging these partnerships, nonprofits can amplify their mission, expand their reach, and drive sustainable impact.
These interactive workshops will explore key topics such as building mutually beneficial relationships, aligning organizational goals with business objectives, and crafting innovative strategies for collaboration.
Participants will walk away with practical insights into how to forge and maintain partnerships that elevate both nonprofit outcomes and business success while enhancing our community's nonprofit reach through business partnerships to unlock new opportunities for growth, funding, and community impact!
Telling The Arlington Community Impact Story
Creating Community Impact through Nonprofit & Business Partnerships
The Greater Arlington Chamber wants to share how our members are partnering together to better impact the greater Arlington community. The goal is to share your stories and encourage others to build similar partnerships because we really are better together. If you would like to highlight a current partnership between a for-profit business and a nonprofit organization, we want to hear from YOU!
Leading Through Service
The Chamber's Young Professional’s has launched a community service initiative, and are actively seeking volunteer opportunities to contribute time and skills to worthy causes. If your organization needs volunteer support opportunities throughout the year, we would love to hear about it.
Nonprofit Networking Events
Chamber After Hours + Nonprofit Showcase highlights the amazing nonprofit members serving greater Arlington. On top of our normal mix and mingle, we will have booths around the venue for Chamber members to better connect with our nonprofit Chamber members and learn about what they do for the community.
Chamber After Hours is a casual, fun networking event, with beverages and appetizers provided. Members mingle, learn about other businesses, meet new friends and share laughs while continuing to build relationships in the community. It is also a terrific way to introduce a prospective member to the Chamber. Bring business cards and join us for a fun, rewarding evening!
