At the Greater Arlington Chamber, we value corporations that give back to their communities locally, and internationally through corporate citizenship. TotalCare has been a staple in North Texas, and around the world through their mission clinics in Lebanon and Kenya.
The brothers who founded TotalCare moved to the United States from Lebanon with a passion for medicine and giving back. Keeping their faith-based values integral in their business was of top priority, which is what led them to create the “TotalCare Foundation”. The foundation, launched in 2023, works to coordinate mission work in Kenya, Lebanon, and North Texas. These missions assist in bringing medical care into rural villages throughout the region, while also promoting their standing clinics that serve patients at subsidized costs year-round. Since 2020, TotalCare doctors and other patient care professionals have been traveling to Kenya for their 3-day medical camps.
During this camp, patients can receive care from North Texas’s best doctors, including the Chair of the Greater Arlington Chamber, Dr. Kenyon Godwin. TotalCare partners with the MOI Teaching Hospital to ensure that patients have a safe place during the clinics to receive this beneficial medical care. On this year’s trip, TotalCare is expecting to see over 3,000 patients.
This year, a small group will be sent out prior to the clinic to conduct outreach in remote villages across East Africa which helps ensure that as many people as possible can get the care necessary. If anyone in need of care is unable to attend this specialized clinic, patients can visit the standing clinic in Eldoret, Kenya that offers multi-specialty care at subsidized rates to patients even after the mission trip.
In order to make these trips possible, TotalCare relies on donations from individuals in the community who feel compelled to support their cause. If you are interested in donating, please click the link here.
