About Young Professionals
The Greater Arlington Chamber Young Professionals is an outreach group of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce that prepares young professionals to be strong, successful future leaders of the City of Arlington by bonding, learning, and serving together throughout the Arlington Community.
All Greater Arlington Chamber memberships include access to participate in the Young Professionals member group and associated activities. We encourage all members and/or colleagues under the age of 40 join us!

Engagement and Networking Opportunities
By joining the Chamber's Young Professionals (YP), you will not only learn more about Arlington but also encourage the future generations of professionals to build an even stronger connection to the community, the city and with each other. Members of the YP are encouraged to participate in as many activities and events as their schedule allows.
For members who are seeking a bit more of an engagement opportunity, we encourage you to consider participating on one of our two subcommittees. By serving on a subcommittee, you will have the ability to shape what each initiative looks like and how to best serve Arlington's young professionals community.
Professional Development & Mentorship
The YP member group is committed to the growth of young professionals in the workforce. Events are aimed to promote and engage YP's with skills, knowledge, and guidance to nurture their personal and professional development.
The Wednesday Mind Melds is an alternating bi-monthly virtual, open discussion on relevant topics for young professionals. YP encourages you to bring your thoughts and experiences to this informal discussion designed to help you learn best practices from your YP community.
IMPACT Mentorship Program (Intellectual Momentum & Professional Advice to Champion Tomorrow) is a program that provides the opportunity for you to be mentored by some of the most established business leaders in the greater Arlington community as they offer their experiences and expertise. Leading Through Service
YP is committed to bringing together young professionals in the greater Arlington area and give back as we lead through service. Introducing Young Professionals with a Purpose, YP's reinvigorated community service initiative, where we actively seek volunteer opportunities with our Chamber nonprofit members. Networking & Events

Jabber & Java with the Young Professionals is one of YP's signature and most well attended events. It is a casual, come and go, monthly event that allows YP’s to network with one another and enjoy a cup of coffee while experiencing local Arlington hot spots and businesses!
Pop-Up Events are quarterly networking opportunities that are purposefully sporadic to help engage the busy-natured young professional community. These events include the traditional Happy Hour, Lunch or Dinner outing, Afternoon Sweet Treat break or Walking Tours to learn more and enjoy infamous Arlington locations.
