About the Asian Business Council
The Asian Business Council is a business building resource of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce, connecting the Asian business community to unique relationships through education, professional development, awareness, influence and engagement.
To be a member of the Asian Business Council, one must be a member in good standing of the Chamber. We ask that you be of Asian heritage or would like to engage with Asian businesses. If you have an employee that qualifies, please consider asking them to be a part of this group. If employed by a Corporate member, the member must have the formal endorsement of his/her employer.
- Building New Relationships— Members receive opportunities to build valuable relationships within the community at networking events throughout the year, helping members become more recognized leaders.
- Business opportunities— Members are granted unique opportunities to support and connect with various charities and other local businesses, while promoting pride within their community.
- Professional Development and Education— Training and continued learning in areas, important to the growth and prosperity of the Asian businesses.
- Culture — The Officers of the Asian Business Council are open to listening to what the benefits and the needs are of the Asian businesses in delivering further value to the business community.
Business and Networking Opportunities
Chamber Networking Events – The Asian Business Council will hold Happy Hour (i.e. Afternoon Tea, Culture and Music of Asian) events to network and exchange ideas for future programs. At other regularly scheduled Chamber events, the Asian Business Council will showcase the group’s benefits for others to engage.
Business Leaders Series Events – Two (2) times/year. These luncheons will showcase topics that have been selected by the Asian Business Advisory Council, as a result of the Asian Business Council members' requests. These luncheons will have speakers presenting on topics the Council feels are important to the growth and success of our members. These are open to the entire membership.
