No matter what holiday festivities you are gearing up for this year, there’s always an opportunity to show off beautiful floral arrangements. Taking advantage of this service supports the creative high school students of Arlington ISD taking part in AISD’s Design of the Month Club managed by the Floral Design and Horticulture program at the Dan Dipert Career + Technical Center (CTC). You can show off these lovely arrangements at your office or give them as a gift to clients, vendors and customers. Nothing says “thank you” like flowers.
At the CTC, high school students are given a space to express their creativity and thrive in any of the fields offered at the center. Those who are drawn to the beauty of plants and have found a passion through designing with them have the chance to harvest their passion in the Floral Design and Horticulture program. During the program, they are taught how to foster plants and create beautiful arrangements.
As they are learning these skills, they also have the opportunity to offer their services to the marketplace. The public is able to purchase these arrangements through their fall and spring sales as well as the Design of the Month Club.
The Design of the Month Club sets up members to receive a one-of-a-kind floral arrangement once a month during both the fall and spring semesters.
Rates are as follows:
Fall Semester (September through December) – $100 for 4 designs
Spring Semester (February through May) – $100 for 4 designs
Both Semesters (September through May) – $200 for 9 designs
Designs must be picked up at the CTC on designated days!
