Early voting for the November 3, 2020 election is in full swing, and Tarrant County is doing its part to help people get to the polls. Tarrant County has partnered with local transportation services to make sure every voter can make their voice heard.
“We are trying to give every eligible voter in Tarrant County the ability to vote in the November 2020 election,” said Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley in a press release. “We are offering free rides on as many public transit providers as possible, including accessible services for the elderly and mobility-impaired as well as on-demand service in Arlington and Fort Worth.”
As a part of this Tarrant County initiative, Arlington voters will be able to receive free rides to the polls from Via and Handitran throughout early voting and on Election Day. Simply show your current Texas ID or voter registration card.
