The Arlington Music Hall has a rich history and always been ‘the place to go’ for entertainment. Opening in 1950 as a movie theatre, the feature film ‘Sea Biscuit’ starring Shirley Temple. The movie premier was followed by a memorable on stage performance by a local band ‘The Flying Ranch Hands’ who later became known as ‘The Light Crust Dough Boys’.
Today, their Marquee Sign and a remnant of the original curtain, displayed in the hospitality room, are tributes to the history of this great venue.
A non-profit 501c3 promotes the concerts, and brings top artist to Arlington year-round. It is our pleasure to welcome you and we hope that you enjoy your live entertainment experience at The Arlington Music Hall.
Black Women’s Wall Street, Inc. was formed in 2018 by women who each had a unique, yet powerful background. Each of these ladies recognized the greatness in each other and felt that there needed to be an organization put in place that would honor the black women for her strength, courage, intelligence and beauty. Too many times to count, there have been repeated instances, stories told by other Black women who have dreams of starting their own businesses yet are crippled by either fear, lack of knowledge or lack of support from those around them.
They look to create a community of women who want more and will fight to have more so that they can build a legacy and create wealth for our families for generations to come. When Black women fight for any cause, they fight for issues that benefit everyone and all communities!
