Summer Family Fun in Greater Arlington

Summer is a great opportunity for families to spend time together and to kids to learn new skills at camps. Greater Arlington has a ton of activities for family and kids during these summer months. 

Six Flags Over Texas/Hurricane Harbor: Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor re-opens to the public on June 22! It’s time to get reacquainted with the Biggest Thrills in Texas! Six Flags Over Texas is putting in place protocols for social distancing, sanitation and hygiene. Reservations will also be required before your visit. Learn more HERE.

Arlington Music Hall: Arlington Music Hall has shows booked for July and August! Their first show back on July 25 will be Donny Edwards – An Authentic Heart & Soul Tribute to The King. See more events HERE

Arlington Parks & Rec: Arlington Parks & Rec has so much in store for you and your family this summer. Camp Thurman: Camp Thurman is ready for campers this summer with plenty of spots left for this summer’s day and night camps! Register your campers HERE.

Catalyst Creative Arts: Catalyst Creative Arts is offering two summer camp sessions. They have tons of kids and family activities, including bi-weekly sessions that do not require a reservation. Their summer camp sessions are June 22 and July 14. To learn more information visit their WEBSITE!

Rustic Brush: The Rustic Brush starts their DIY Kids Kindness Camp on June 15. This day camp goes from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm with a new craft each day. Their second camp will start June 22. Register HERE!

Storm Farms: Storm Farms is a great place for you and your family to get outside and pick fresh produce! Summer produce will start being available in mid-June. Click HERE to learn more!

Trinity River Farm: Trinity River Farms has plenty of camps this summer for young riders! Camp sessions are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  All campers will ride each day, and prior experience is not necessary. For most camps, students will be separated into camp groups by age and ability level. Camp sessions 1 and 2 are full, but all other camps in June and July are still open! Click HERE to learn more.
