The Pantego Economic Development Corporation has established a gift card program for residents of the town. Pantego residents will receive a $30 gift card and a letter explaining how the program works, including a list of participating businesses. The letter will be mailed on July 31 and the $30 gift card will be mailed on August 5.
Residents will be able to use their gift cards at participating Pantego businesses through August 25. A list of those participating businesses will be included in the letters to residents and can also be found on the Shop Pantego Website.
The gift cards will be one time use only and there is no cash option. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced.
The participating Pantego Businesses will be reimbursed for the program from August 26 through September 25 by completing a form at the Town Municipal Offices and providing the redeemed gift cards. Checks to the participating businesses will be issued the following week of this action.
Many small businesses are struggling right now because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Pantego Economic Development Corporation created the gift card program to help boost the economy and bring visitors to the stores and restaurants. The organization is doing their part to help these local companies, the heart of the town, stay in business. The gift cards are a nice incentive for local residents as well.
