In partnership with American Express, the National Trust for Historic Preservation is going to back 25 historic, small restaurants across the country with $1 million grants. They will give preference to underrepresented communities, which have been hit hardest by the pandemic. Other eligibility criteria include a contribution to a neighborhood’s history and at least 25 years of operation.
