Arlington is one of the epicenters of wealth technology, and now there is a new program for those interested in creating new innovations. First Rate Inc., The Founders Arena, SEI, and the City of Arlington are bringing the first WealthTech Accelerator program to Arlington. This new program will bring crucial opportunities for new wealth technology entrepreneurs in the start-up stage through a 10-week experience hosted right here in Arlington.
As one of the premier wealth technology companies in Arlington, First Rate worked in conjunction with SEI, the City of Arlington, and the new Founders Arena to create a state-of-the-art, novel program that will help to shape new wealth technology innovators. The program is aimed at connecting consumers, community partners, and investors to new entrepreneurs in the start-up stage.
The intensive features both in-person and remote programming to best educate incoming wealth technology entrepreneurs. In-person events will be hosted at the new First Rate Inc. headquarters on Ascension Boulevard right here in Arlington. First Rate will have at least two cohorts supported by their $500,000 grant from the Arlington Economic Development Corporation.
The new WealthTech Accelerator will not only help entrepreneurs, but community partners as well. First Rate Inc. plans to collaborate with local schools such as University of Texas at Arlington and Tarrant County Community College to create financial technology programs for students. The intensive is expected to bring in many global executives involved in the wealth technology industry to Arlington, promoting commerce and economic development.
