Tips For Early Voting

Registered voters in Tarrant County can vote at any of 50 voting centers scattered throughout the county. Early voting starts tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13th, and runs through October 30th. The centers will be open every day except for Sunday, October 18th. Hours vary, but all of the centers are open at least from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. On October 25th, all polling places will be open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

All voters will be required to have a government-issued photo ID to vote. (Some hardship exceptions do exist.)

A new addition to this election is an interactive voting center map that will indicate how busy a particular voting center is at that time. The goal is to let voters know where the crowds are. In a typical presidential year, the county uses 600 voting machines for early voting. For this election, 993 are in use to speed up the process. You can bring a cheat sheet to the voting center with your choices already marked to make the process go more quickly. Make sure your cheat sheet is paper. No electronic devices may be used. Phones and cameras are prohibited inside the voting center. CLICK HERE to view a sample ballot for your precinct.

You can support your favorite candidates, but not within 100 feet of the voting center. No campaign t-shirts or other campaign apparel or materials are allowed.

Everyone will be required to wear a mask in the voting center. Just make sure you leave your “Vote for Joe” or “Trump 2020” mask in the car.
