This program offers a unique opportunity for Arlington college students to connect with established Greater Arlington Chamber Young Professionals and cultivate meaningful connections, gain valuable insights on career readiness and industry insights, and foster personal and professional growth through a six-month long mentorship program. The 2026 program runs from August to January.
Apply today! Mentee applications and Mentor applications close Sunday, June 7.
The Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, known as YP for short, builds business and community leaders through bonding, education and service throughout our community. The IMPACT College Mentorship Program is designed to connect Chamber Young Professionals with the future wave of young professionals.
Become an IMPACT Mentor: Must have been through the YP IMPACT Mentorship Program prior to becoming a mentor. Provide honest, constructive feedback, emphasizing real-world applications of their advice. Share experiences about transitioning from college to a career, networking strategies, and the professional skills that matter most. Encourage open dialogue about industry expectations, career paths and growth opportunities.
Embark on the Mentorship Journey as an IMPACT Mentee: Must be a current University of Texas at Arlington or Tarrant County College student. Respect your mentor’s professional experience and engage openly in discussions. Be proactive about defining your career goals and learning objectives, whether it’s gaining industry-specific insights, developing soft skills, or navigating the transition from college to the workforce.
If you know Chamber Young Professionals who are eager to make an IMPACT, we encourage you to share the Mentor Interest Form. Learn more about the Chamber Young Professionals here.
