The Chamber is thankful for their Ambassadors, better known as the A-Team, who make newcomers feel welcomed and mentor and support our members. We are sincerely grateful for their hard work and dedication, which is why we recognize a member of the A-team every year at our Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner. The selection of Ambassador of the Year is based on attendance at Chamber events and a vote from active A-Team members. We are honored to award Carolyn Pope, Aflac Benefits Advisor, as the 2019 Ambassador of the Year.
When reflecting upon her role as a member of the A-team, Carolyn Pope said, “I enjoy being an Ambassador of the Arlington Chamber because it enables me to assist new members in getting involved and make them feel welcome. I enjoy meeting new members and those that have been members for many years.” While Carolyn Pope has made significant contributions to the Chamber, she also values the experiences she has had as a member of the A-team. “Being an Ambassador has helped my Aflac business be more recognized and remembered and it has also helped me learn more about other businesses that offered services that I needed.”
