2025 will be a year long celebration, as Mode Salon will be turning 15- we officially opened our doors on May 29, 2010.  We recently renovated our salon, and since we’ve never had a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, we feel this is a special way to commemorate such a milestone.  We want to celebrate Mode Salon and the community that has welcomed us, loved us, and supported us through the years.

In January 2010, Israel Guajardo and Alex Acero moved to Arlington from California, with nothing but a suitcase full of clothes and big dreams.  It was Israel’s vision to create a space for the community to get the high end salon experience without leaving Arlington, and without the pretentiousness, exorbitant price tag, and snobbery that seem to be the norm in high end salons.

With hard work, determination, and resilience, Israel and Alex were able to bring that vision to life.  Since our establishment, we have been offering premium salon services in a relaxed ambiance filled with artistry, positive energy, and fabulous hair.

On January 27, 2023, Israel passed away- an integral part of the Mode family and a true master of the hair craft.

Even though he is no longer with us, at Mode we keep his memory alive and honor his legacy by continuing to do what he did for over 30 years in the industry: make sure every person in our chair looks good and feels gorgeous. Team Mode is committed more than ever to taking our clients’ hair to new levels with expertise and confidence in our talent and Vidal Sassoon training. We are committed, just like Israel was, to make the world a more beautiful and fabulous place one person at a time.
