Corporate Citizenship Forum
December 3 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm$50
Corporate citizenship and social responsibility have become increasingly more visible to consumers, suppliers and employees. However, these programs can be difficult to start up and maintain on your own. We can confidently tell you, when it comes to driving meaningful progress in our community, together is always better. Community development has a greater impact when all parties at the table contribute their time, talent and resources. Programs are more sustainable when companies take a holistic approach to their corporate citizenship investments—taking the time to understand and tackle how issues intersect. Communities are more resilient when businesses, nonprofits, and governments collaborate around a shared vision.
Join the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Foundation for our inaugural Corporate Citizenship Forum as we discuss how businesses, big and small, can succeed at giving back to our community through shared, collaborative efforts. The event will include three keynote sessions along with four breakouts sessions. We look forward to your attendance!
Marc DeCourcey, Senior VP for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, will set the stage with an overview of corporate citizenship across the United States and how you can unleash your superpower.
Hannah Nokes, Founder and Principal of Magnify Impact, will share with you how to create purpose and impact through corporate social responsibility.
Shelly Esque, a globally recognized leader of corporate citizenship, will share her experience of how community engagement can have a major impact no matter the size of your business. Shelly will talk about her time at Intel and the initiative she launched called She Will Connect which is responsible for bringing 5 million women online in Africa.
