TOPIC: Win the Point, Keep the Relationship: Communicate clearly, resolve conflict, and strengthen relationships

DESCRIPTION: This interactive session will equip participants with practical interpersonal communication skills for navigating disagreement while preserving trust. Rooted in nonviolent communication, the course focuses on emotional awareness, empathetic listening, assertive expression, and values-based boundary setting to support respectful, productive dialogue. Participants will build confidence to set boundaries, respond to conflict with composure, and use ethical persuasion to guide conversations toward collaborative outcomes. The course also helps individuals position themselves as trusted leaders: Professionals others respect, listen to, and include in meaningful discussions.

SPEAKER BIO: Jessica Gauthier is the Director of Communications & Public Relations at ARBOR REALTORS®, where she leads strategic communications and marketing initiatives serving REALTORS® across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. She brings extensive experience in public relations, marketing, and crisis communications, holds a master’s degree in Public Relations and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing, and is an experienced educator who has taught children and adults in South Korea, Germany, and the United States. She is an expert in interpersonal and cross-cultural communication and enjoys sharing her expertise to help others feel more confident and comfortable with their communication skills.
