DESCRIPTION: This presentation provides an overview of the IRS Business Tax Account and highlights essential tools available to support small businesses. Attendees will learn how to navigate the online account efficiently to view balances, make payments, and monitor activity. The session also covers key small business tax obligations, filing requirements, and compliance resources designed to reduce errors and save time. Ultimately, participants will gain practical guidance on utilizing IRS tools to manage their tax responsibilities confidently.

SPEAKER BIO: Based in Dallas, Texas, Taishun Harrington serves as an IRS Stakeholder Liaison within the Communications and Liaison Division. In this role, she delivers priority outreach messages and educational services to taxpayer communities, with a strong focus on small businesses, community associations, and tax practitioners. She leverages extensive experience in IRS compliance policies and procedures, alongside her tax law expertise, to support small business needs. Taishun holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA concentrated in Human Resources.
