SPEAKER BIOS:
Richard Chance is an accomplished innovation and business development executive with a passion for creating transformative growth in entrepreneurial ecosystems. In his role as Dean of Lifestyle & Community Learning at Tarrant County College, he oversees the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), leveraging his extensive leadership and operational experience to help entrepreneurs and small businesses thrive.
Richard’s background spans startup ideation, capital raising, and strategic partnerships, all of which inform his most recent endeavor: developing an Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) 12-week Bootcamp and 3-day Accelerator. Through these programs, participants learn how to identify, acquire, and successfully scale existing businesses—an approach he champions as the most efficient path to entrepreneurship. He firmly believes in “buying then building” as a powerful strategy for sustainable growth. Under his leadership, these initiatives integrate lean startup methodologies, hands-on mentorship, and real-world business analysis, preparing searchers to make data-driven decisions and execute winning acquisition strategies.
