We’re throwing out the rule book for this annual dinner! Welcome to The Annual Show Starring the Greater Arlington Chamber; we’re taking a Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show and turning it on its head for a live edition right here in the heart of Arlington. Thank you to all of our sponsors who make this event possible. Please do them a courtesy by scrolling through this entire page.
Interviews: Joining us as special guests on the set are our two Business Hall of Fame inductees – Spring Creek Companies and CAE (formerly L3 Harris) – and our two Star Award recipients – Robert Kembel and Robert Mahoney. We’ll also have a chat with our outgoing and incoming Chamber Board Chairs – Kellie Fischer and Jim Maibach.
Games: Jimmy Fallon became quite the viral YouTube sensation with his clever and hilarious games on the show. We’re excited to feature the Whisper Challenge, Box of Lies, the Mimic Challenge, Name that Tune and, of course, the infamous lip sync battle where our two chairs will go head-to-head to win the audience’s applause.
Band: That’s right! We have a live band this year for the first time in ages. We’re excited to welcome The Pengwins to our stage featuring local business mogul Alan Petsche.
Silent Auction, Live Auction & Raffle: As part of our annual dinner, we always have a silent auction. This year, we’re getting more inventive with a live auction and raffle as well! If you have an item, basket, gift set, bottle of wine or anything worth $50+ you’d like to contribute, please contact Sherry Jackson at sjackson@www.arlingtontx.com.
Valet & Parking: We will be at The Expo Center (formerly known as the Arlington Convention Center) which is located in the same building as the eSports Stadium. Valet services will be available at the venue courtesy of our Valet Sponsor Wade Family Funeral Home, but we highly recommend purchasing ahead of time for $20; it helps us plan ahead on our numbers. Open parking is available at the venue.
What to Wear: We’re stepping back from the black-tie and approaching this year more casually. Dress like you’re going out to see a great show or your favorite comedian. Ties are welcome but far from required.
