Join the Women’s Alliance of the Greater Arlington Chamber for the 14th Annual Inspired Women Luncheon, affectionately known as IWL, presented by Chase. Keynote Speaker: Charean Williams is an accomplished sports journalist and the first woman to receive the prestigious Dick McCann Award from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, honoring her contributions to football reporting. With a career spanning over three decades, she has covered 30 Super Bowls and worked with top outlets, including the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Pro Football Talk. Keep It Local Plinko: We’re launching Keep It Local Plinko – a fun, interactive game before and after the event for event attendees to pick out swag from local businesses depending on the slot their token lands in. Hero & Rising Star Awards: The Hero & Rising Star Awards are the most prestigious awards granted under the Women’s Alliance, recognizing women who are the very definition of a “servant leader.” These recipients continually prioritize their commitment to their community by paving the way for others to create change while leaving a legacy. Scholarships: At the first IWL, we awarded one $1,000 scholarship donated by Dr. Judith J Carrier, former President of TTC-SE and the first-ever Chairwoman of the Chamber Board. The Dr. Judith J. Carrier Scholarship Program is dedicated to cultivating and developing the next generation of women leaders and will award $19,000 in scholarships this year.
