The Chamber is thrilled to announce the “What’s Your Big Idea?” Entrepreneurship Contest received more than 2,000 contest submissions from 3rd through 8th grade Arlington Independent School District students. Through our partnership with the AISD, the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce is proud to have empowered thousands of students to channel their entrepreneurial spirit.
The Chamber is thankful to the dedicated volunteers who spent a combined 68 hours judging student entries. We would like to recognize the following companies and organizations for giving their time: Six Flags Over Texas/Hurricane Harbor, Prosperity Bank, Raise Your Hand Texas, UT Arlington College of Engineering, Mayor Jim Ross, Edward Jones TCC Southeast, Bit By Bit Computer, Javier E. Najera Agency, Miracle League DFW, Arlington ISD and Scott Parsinen. Thank you for supporting entrepreneurship and education in our community.
Over the past sixteen years, the “What’s Your Big Idea?” Entrepreneurship Contest has grown to reach more AISD students allowing them to spread their entrepreneurial wings.
Without the support of the greater Arlington community, the “What’s Your Big Idea?” Entrepreneurship Contest would not be possible. If you are interested in judging high school contest submissions or working the awards ceremony, please email Education@www.arlingtontx.com
