
The Greater Arlington Chamber’s Women’s Alliance recently opened scholarship applications for two local leadership programs – Leadership Arlington and the Arlington Civic Engagement Institute. Both programs empower and strengthen our community.
The deadline to apply for either scholarship is Monday, May 19.
Leadership Arlington Scholarship
For the third year, the Women’s Alliance is offering a scholarship (valued at $1,200) for Women’s Alliance members to complete the Leadership Arlington program. APPLY HERE.
Leadership Arlington aims to identify emerging community leaders, educate them on civic engagement and leadership and connect them with a diverse network of professionals from various backgrounds in Arlington. Participants meet on the third Thursday of each month from 8:00am to 5:00pm (August 2025 through May 2026).
Arlington Civic Engagement Institute Scholarship
New this year, the Women’s Alliance is offering a limited number of scholarships (valued at $1,500) for Women’s Alliance members to go through the Arlington Civic Engagement Institute. APPLY HERE.
The Arlington Civic Engagement Institute, a collaboration between the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Victoria A. Farrar-Myers, empowers individuals to become informed and effective leaders, offering a comprehensive program focused on civic engagement, leadership development, and fostering positive change in the community. Running from August to February, Participants meet on the fourth Friday of each month from 8:00am to 2:00pm (August 2025 through February 2026). Applicants must be residents of Greater Arlington, including Pantego and Dalworthington Gardens.
