Monday marked a special day at the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce. A handful of Partners in Education volunteers and teachers were here to celebrate our TOP WINNERS of the “What’s Your Big Idea?” Entrepreneurship Contest with drive-through prize distribution.
Each of the top 30 students was awarded an amazing gift bag full of gift cards and tickets to local entertainment as well as a yard sign to be proudly displayed to share their accomplishments. We’d like to thank all of our gift sponsors for providing the following gifts and celebrating our young and innovative students! In addition, all of our first place winners received a scholarship to attend an exclusive, one-week summer camp “The Big Idea Lab” and a brand new iPad to help accelerate their camp experience!

“The ‘What’s Your Big Idea?’ Entrepreneurship Contest Ceremony is one of my most favorite events that we do and it saddened me not to be able to share in their excitement with an in-person event.” said Alicia Collins-Butler, Director of Education, Workforce & Community Development “But we are just so excited that we were able to celebrate and recognize them for their achievements during these times, and this drive-through prize distribution gave us one more way to celebrate with a more personal touch.”
If you are a proud parent of a student finalist or a top winner of this year’s contest, please help us celebrate by posting pictures to Facebook or Instagram using #WhatsYourBigIdea. We wish you all a fantastic summer and we look forward to all of those innovative ideas next year!
