The UTA Lockheed Martin Career Center will be virtually hosting its biannual career fair.
The U.S. News and World Reports ranked UTA 13th in its 2021 “Best Graduate Schools” assessment. UTA has also been named an R-1 doctoral university due to its research efforts and achievements. These accolades attest to the quality of education at UTA and the caliber of students in attendance, so employers are in luck.
From February 23rd to 25th, participating employers will have the opportunity to connect with an unlimited number of UTA students and alumni, host free webinars, and view resumes on vFAIRS. Access to the platform and resumes will be available until May 26th. Employers will also receive detailed post-event recaps, complete with booth visitor analytics and event transcripts. Participation costs vary by industry.
The fair is a great time for employers to share information about their companies, hear about students’ career goals and aspirations, and hire new employees. As one of the largest universities in North Texas, there is no shortage of available talent.
The deadline to register is February 16th and a list of the center’s policies can be found here. To help employers prepare, the center will be holding training webinars from February 9th till the 11th. All questions can be directed to hireamav@uta.edu.
