Total Eclipse of the Park at Levitt Pavilion: Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and head over to the Levitt Pavilion from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM for an eclipse watch party, featuring a live DJ, food trucks and free commemorative eclipse glasses for the first 3,000 guests. Admission is free, and there is open seating on the lawn.
Solar-bration at The Planetarium at UTA: As one of the three largest planetariums in Texas, The Planetarium at UTA is making a celebration of the total solar eclipse! Not only do they have a weekend full of events leading up to the main event, including an eclipse concert and eclipse observatory show; there’s also a viewing party across the UTA campus with food trucks and audio program featuring eclipse experts from UTA!
Solar Eclipse at Loews Arlington: From 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM, hit the Pool Deck at the new Loews Arlington Hotel. Sip on their feature cosmic cocktail, Outer Limits, while enjoying live music by local artists and during this once-in-a-lifetime celestial event. Hotel guests will receive complimentary commemorative glasses for viewing. Poolside cabanas are available for rent, and food and beverage will be available to purchase from swim up bar, SOAK.
Cosmic Eclipse Extravaganza at the ARBOR Event Center: From 12-2 PM, hang out with our Arlington Board of Realtors in their beautiful event space on I-20 for free! There will be music, food, games and “potentially aliens.” Learn More.
Solar Coaster at Six Flags Over Texas: On a rare occasion, Six Flags Over Texas is open on a Monday in April specifically to give you an adrenaline-filled eclipse-watching experience. The park will be open from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and you can purchase packages to commemorate the day, including exclusive watch areas like the Majestic Theater area and the Oil Derrick.
