Texas is synonymous with country music. Every summer, people from all the community and our state gather at venues to enjoy a true Texan past time. Thanks to “Concert in Your Car” country music lovers do not have to miss the summer music scene. The innovative outdoor drive-up concert experience hosted by the Texas Rangers will feature live nationally recognized and award-winning recording artists.
“Concert in Your Car” will be held outside of Globe Life Field. The music series is bringing beloved Texas country artists like the Eli Young Band, Whiskey Myers and Pat Green and more back to the stage for fans. Attendees can listen to live music from the comfort of their cars while watching their favorite artists from jumbo screens.
The highly anticipated music series is creatively bringing people together with music at a much needed time, and it has already had an overwhelming amount of support from the community. The Texas Rangers even added the 5:00 pm showtime after the original line-up sold out in minutes. While the Texas Rangers are bringing joy and entertainment to greater Arlington, they are also carefully following social distancing guidelines.
“We are eager to once again start providing entertainment to our fans and to be able to offer the experience in a way that takes into account health and safety guidelines,” said Rangers Executive Vice President, Sports & Entertainment Sean Decker.
Located in Tundra Lot B, just north of Globe Life Field, the series of concerts will take place on consecutive nights from Thursday, June 4 to Sunday, June 7.
