North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. This year, the 12th annual North Texas Giving Day will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020, as an 8-hour online giving event. Every year, the event spreads awareness and support for nonprofits. In 2019, $50 million was raised through 102,000 donors benefiting 3,000 local nonprofits, bringing the eleven-year total to over $290 million for North Texas communities.
The Chamber believes Together, We Succeed because nothing we do is accomplished alone. Together, we make greater Arlington a fantastic place to live, work and do business. Now more than ever, it is important for us to support our community. We are proud to see North Texas Giving Day empowering people to give back to their communities.
COVID-19 has created growing needs, but the nonprofits in our community have been there for us. To showcase the impact nonprofits have had in our community, the Chamber is hosting a North Texas Giving Day Roundtable this Thursday, September 17, at 1:00 pm via Facebook Live. CLICK HERE to join us with the Communities Foundation of Texas, the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation and the Levitt Pavilion Arlington as we highlight the organizations making a difference in greater Arlington.
Over 3,000 organizations are participating in North Texas Giving Day, many of which are a part of our Chamber. If you are interested in finding ways to give in the greater Arlington area, here is the list of Chamber nonprofits doing fantastic work during this unprecedented time.
