The North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) has awarded Industrial Solutions Company (ISC) with the 2022 Outstanding DBE Award. The award was presented at the 30th Annual Awards Gala and recognizes exemplary Disadvantaged Business Enterprises succeeding in the local marketplace.
CEO and President Barbara Oldums, along with her husband, Leonard Oldums who is CFO and Vice President of the company are active chamber members and business leaders. Their current NCTRCA certifications include Minority Business Enterprise, Small Business Enterprise and the Outstanding Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
Industrial Solutions Company is a Wholesale Distributor of Janitorial and Safety Supplies established in 2011. As the country’s only African-American, woman-owned converter manufacturer of disposable towels, their specialties and experience allow them to serve an impressive list of clientele. ISC establishes and maintains relationships that set them up for astounding success. Through these relationships, they are able to provide excellent quality and service to Texas Rangers, Arlington Live! by Loews, Dallas Cowboys, the City of Arlington Fire Department, Omni Hotel Dallas, and the Texas Department of Transportation, among others. They have recently expanded to providing rental services in the construction industry with products such as Porta Potties, hand wash stations, dumpsters, generators, and construction job site rentals.
Previously, ISC has been awarded with the 2020 Jackie Robinson Business Most Valuable Diverse Partner Award by the Texas Rangers, and the 2021 Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year Award by the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
Aside from the achievements they have earned in business, the Oldums are supporters of the Arlington community. Together they have started a ministry, Cornerstone World Outreach Ministries, and Mr. Oldums has been volunteering with the ACAPP for 10 years helping to provide peace and comfort to Arlington community members and officials.
Barbara and Leonard Oldums are highly accoladed members of the Greater Arlington Chamber of commerce. We are thrilled to see such outstanding members of the community continually be recognized for their achievements.
