The wait for the annual Texas ChristKindl Market is over. ChristKindl is a family-friendly market, inspired by a cherished German tradition. The marketplace will run from November 29 through December 22, 2019, at the Globe Life Field North Plaza. Christkindl is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and will feature performances, unique vendors, festive drinks and food and an outdoor skating rink. While Arlington the ChristKindl Market is an Arlington favorite, the city is also known for its traditional holiday parade.
The Annual Arlington Holiday lights parade will be held Saturday, December 14, at 2:00 pm in Downtown Arlington. The community is invited to enjoy live music and free activities, including performances from local high schools and a free movie screening. Located in Founders Plaza this year, is the brand new 65-foot Christmas tree. Arlington’s new tree is one of the biggest in the state, and it will be lit during the traditional tree lighting ceremony following the parade.
Holiday in the park at Six Flags over Texas is back with over 2 million lights and plenty of family-filled fun. This year, Holiday in the Park will feature the holiday tree of lights spectacular, frosty snow hill and merry marketplace. Make sure to visit Six Flags over Texas from November 23 to January 5, 2020, to join in the festivities.
