The Greater Arlington Chamber’s 79th Annual Dinner, Good Evening Arlington presented by Medical City Arlington, took a spin on morning news to celebrate the great things happening in Arlington.
As part of the Annual Dinner, the Greater Arlington Chamber bestows two honors on individuals and businesses who are pioneers in their industries, leaders in the greater Arlington community and exceptional volunteers.
The most prestigious individual award, the Star Award, is given to an individual who made a significant and lasting contribution to the community. This year’s recipient, Cliff Mycoskie, sat down with anchor Michael Jacobson, CEO & President of the Chamber, and shared how his family shaped his commitment to community and his community efforts with The Levitt Pavilion and River Legacy. The Chamber’s Business Hall of Fame recognizes businesses whose entrepreneurial spirit, civic leadership and corporate stewardship has contributed to the growth of the greater Arlington area. Tom McCarty, president of this year’s inductee, LBL Architects, discussed with Jacobson some of the key projects LBL designed in Arlington, McCarty’s experience in the Arlington educational system and how LBL is investing in the next generation of leaders.
