The Greater Arlington Chamber is gearing up to once again significantly impact higher education attainment as they announce the launch of their 2024 scholarship applications. With plans to award $60,500 through 24 scholarships, this annual initiative will officially open on Monday, October 2. With a mission to foster educational opportunities and empower the next generation of leaders, this program has become a cornerstone of the Chamber’s commitment to the community.

The Innovation Scholarship powered by The Pettinger Foundation will provide $20,000 in tuition to currently enrolled UTA students, undergraduate and graduate, specifically attaining degrees in the engineering field. This application will close on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST.
The Dr. Judith J. Carrier Scholarships powered by the Women’s Alliance of the Chamber are open to women pursuing their undergrad at the Southeast Campus of Tarrant County College (TCC-SE) and the University of Texas (UTA) as well as women pursuing their graduate degree at UTA. There are also two nursing scholarships; one provided by Medical City Arlington and the other by Texas Health Arlington Memorial and Texas Health Resources. These scholarships can be applied for in just one application, and you may apply for more than one category (ex: undergrad and nursing). This application will close on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST.
The Greater Arlington Chamber Scholarship Program selects one recipient from each of the eight Arlington ISD high schools and gives them $2,500 towards tuition at the university or college of their choice.
The American Dream Scholarship offers one $1,000 scholarship to an Arlington ISD senior of Latino or Hispanic descent aspiring to become the first in their family to go to college. This scholarship is specifically to attend Tarrant County College or the University of Texas at Arlington, and is the only scholarship that can be applied to a certification program or a degree.
Applications for The Greater Arlington Chamber Scholarship and The American Dream Scholarship are due Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 11:59 PM CST.
