Big ideas start in Arlington. Whether you are an artist or aspiring business owner, greater Arlington is a place where people can achieve their dreams. Create Arlington is the newest place members of our community can grow or launch their business, showcase their skills and network.
Located on 308 W. Main St, Create Arlington is Downtown’s newest coworking space, local gallery and business incubator. Whether you are a visual artist, web designer, photographer, writer, illustrator, sculptor, or streamer, Create Arlington has the perfect environment for collaboration and the visual arts. The unique coworking space is equipped with Wi-Fi, drafting tables, couches, easels and multimedia equipment for members to use.
“It’s set up specifically for those who are in creative trades. Those who are artists, graphic designers, people who need to spill paint sometimes with what they do,” said Create Arlington Founder and Co-owner, Mark Joeckel.
Create Arlington is for artists and entrepreneurs alike to incubate their ideas. Entrepreneurs are welcome to pitch their business startup ideas and get funding through Create Arlington. Along with a workspace, entrepreneurs who become members are given creative and entrepreneurship skills training and access to collaborative marketing events.
“We have a printer there and, of course, always have coffee, so you have this place that really becomes your office without it being your home office,” Founder and Co-owner Mark Joeckel said.
Membership applications are open with a choice of shared space, a dedicated desk or easel, or an individual studio space. Discounted rates are available for UTA and TCC students, retirees, veterans and first responders.
