Arlington, the American Dream City is the future home of America’s greatest heroes. We are honored that the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation chose to be a part of our community in 2019. Once completed, the museum will honor roughly 3,500 Medal of Honor recipients who have earned the nation’s highest military recognition.
We are proud greater Arlington will have an American treasure that will inspire locals and visitors with stories of heroism. The National Medal of Honor Museum is expected to bring more than 5 million annual visitors in addition to Arlington’s yearly 14 million tourists.
Although the museum will open in 2024, you can show your patriotism and honor America’s heroes today. For National Medal of Honor Day on March 25, 2020, letters, postcards, drawings and paintings are being collected from generous Americans all across the country and given to recipients. This is a spectacular way for students, businesses and individuals to learn about and thank our nation’s heroes.
This year, you can send your packages or mail to the museum office in Arlington, Texas. Mail for each Recipient will be sorted and delivered to each of their homes. Want your letter to be part of this year’s Medal of Honor Mail Call? This is an amazing opportunity to connect with the Medal of Honor Recipients and celebrate what they have done for our country.
