Arlington Independence Day Parade: The annual Arlington Independence Day Parade is a great family-friendly event featuring local Arlington businesses and clubs. Don’t miss the largest Independence Day parade in Texas! The event starts at 9 AM in Downtown Arlington on W. Mitchell, and goes all the way up to W. Abram. View the entire route here.

Inaugural Arlington Independence Day Parade Firecracker 5K: Get some exercise and pop on your racing shoes to take part in Arlington’s first ever Firecracker 5K. Walk or run starting at 7 AM in the UT Arlington Parking Lot. Register for the 5K here.

Light Up Arlington: Celebrate a fun-filled evening in Arlington on July 3^rd starting at 6 PM. The festivities include live music, food trucks, activities for the kiddos and concludes with a spectacular fireworks display. Events are free throughout Downtown. The fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:50 PM and last around 20 minutes. Be sure to tune into 95.9 The Ranch FM for a musical accompaniment.

Six Flags Over Texas: Watch the fireworks and experience thrills at Six Flags Over Texas on the 4^th of July. You can view the fireworks from anywhere in the park on July 3^rd starting at 9:50 PM. Even if you are booked on the 3^rd, be sure to watch their “Summer Spectacular Fireworks” every Friday and Saturday starting July 1^st. Events occur from 5:30 PM-9:30 PM throughout the park.
