There is no way recent visitors to Arlington’s Entertainment District could miss the 81-foot high pyramid outside of Globe Life Park. This glowing pyramid-shaped venue is PY1, Arlington’s newest virtual reality experience.
Lune Rouge Entertainment, the creator of PY1, decided to make its United States debut right here in Arlington, Texas. PY1 uses a variety of special effects such as lasers and projections to give visitors an immersive entertainment experience. PY1 offers two multimedia shows, Through the Echoes and Stella – the Time Journey. During Saturday evenings, the venue converts to a dancefloor.
Lune Rouge Entertainment chose to bring its traveling virtual reality experience to greater Arlington because of its location. The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex dedicates the most per capita spending on cultural arts in Texas. The opening of PY1 means that global companies are recognizing the opportunities available in our community that values art and culture.
Arlington is both a leader in entertainment and the cultural arts, and Lune Rouge’s traveling exhibit will contribute to the City’s tourism and economic strength. Arlington’s 14.8 million annual visitors can now enjoy a futuristic virtual reality experience. PY1 is an exciting new addition to Arlington’s $250 million entertainment complex. PY1’s dancefloor and drinks on Saturday evenings will also contribute to the entertainment district’s vibrant nightlife.
