UPDATE: On Saturday, May 13, the Arlington Renegades fought hard to secure the XFL championship. The game began at 7 PM, drawing viewers in person at the stadium, as well as Texas Live! and homes across the area, thanks to the live coverage on ABC and ESPN+. The triumph demonstrates their commitment to success and marks a significant milestone in XFL’s history, solidifying their place among the league’s most esteemed champions.
In their first year, the Arlington Renegades will play in the XFL Championship again the D.C. Defenders on May 13th in San Antonio. This is an especially big win for our community as the league’s operations are based out of Arlington. We’re also home to the league’s common training ground. In an attempt to reduce spending, teams practice in the same facility in Arlington as well as other football stadiums around North Texas. Naturally, we hosted this season’s first-ever game, where our hometown team beat visitors Vegas Vipers in a closely fought game.
