ARLINGTON, TX – August 18, 2025 – The Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Small Business of the Year Awards: minority-owned, veteran-owned, woman-owned, nonprofit and overall small business of the year, the top award given to the highest scoring submission. Recipients will be honored at the 20th Annual State of the City Address on Oct. 16.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our community, and we’re proud to recognize this year’s outstanding award recipients,” Michael Jacobson, President & CEO of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce, said. “Their hard work and dedication strengthen Arlington’s economy and enrich the lives of those who live and work here.”
OVERALL SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR RECIPIENT: Wade Funeral Home & Crematory
We are honored and humbled to be nominated alongside so many outstanding small businesses in our community. At Wade Funeral Home & Crematory, our mission is simple yet profound: Shepherding families with love and respect, while honoring God in all we do. As a family-owned and operated funeral home, we are deeply rooted in Arlington and committed to providing compassionate care, exceptional service, and a comforting environment for families during life’s most difficult moments.
Our dedicated team takes the time to listen, guide, and personalize every service, ensuring each tribute reflects the life it celebrates. We are proud to call Arlington home and grateful for the trust this community has placed in us for generations.
NONPROFIT RECIPIENT: Miracle League of Arlington
For two decades, the Miracle League of Arlington has brought the magic of baseball to children and young adults of all abilities. Games are played each spring and fall on two fields, one a traditional dirt field and the other a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assistive devices while helping to prevent injuries. The league supports 22 teams, 305 players, 62 dedicated volunteer coaches, and more than 800 volunteers each season who serve as buddies to the players.
The Miracle League removes the physical and social barriers that can keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the field, replacing them with laughter, teamwork, and lasting friendships. Every game gives players the chance to experience the thrill of the sport, the joy of community, and the pride of being part of a team. Through the passion of families, volunteers, and supporters, the Miracle League ensures every child can play ball.
VETERAN-OWNED RECIPIENT: Juno’s Liquor
Juno’s Liquor is honored to be recognized as the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce’s Veteran-Owned Business of the Year. This award reflects not only our growth, but also the resilience and vision that define our mission.
What began as a turnaround of a struggling store with poor reviews and declining sales has become a story of persistence, community partnership, and bold expansion. In just three years, Juno’s grew from $220,000 in total sales at the end of 2022 to generating over $470,000 in the first half of 2025 alone, while opening new locations and expanding product categories from premium cigars to barware and restaurant supplies.
As a veteran-owned business, we remain committed to service—whether through supporting local organizations, providing exceptional customer experiences, or creating jobs across North Texas. We are deeply grateful for this recognition and the communities who continue to support our journey.
WOMAN-OWNED RECIPIENTS: Olive Physical Therapy
Tucked in the heart of Pantego—the “donut hole” of Arlington—Olive Physical Therapy is a woman-owned clinic where patients find more than just expert care; they find a partner in their recovery. Founder Rachel Vinyard and her team provide one-on-one, personalized treatment for pain, limited mobility, weakness, and functional impairments caused by injury, surgery, or medical conditions. Olive PT also offers highly specialized care for vestibular (dizzy) conditions, balance disorders, and pelvic floor dysfunction, always with the goal of helping patients return to the activities they love.
Beyond the clinic walls, Olive PT is an active community supporter, partnering with local physicians, schools, and small businesses, and lending time and resources to the Pantego Business Alliance, Christian Women’s Job Corps, and local police, fire, and public works appreciation events. Known for blending clinical expertise with a warm, fun, and compassionate environment, Olive PT is committed to making a lasting difference—one patient, one goal, and one success story at a time.
MINORITY-OWNED RECIPIENTS: Parc West Luxury Living

CRITERIA
The Small Business Awards process is rigorous. Nominated businesses and organizations complete an extensive application including recommendation letters from the community. The Chamber’s criteria for selection as a Small Businesses of the Year include growth, relevant innovation and contributions to furthering the Chamber’s Mission “Together, We Champion Economic and Community Prosperity.” A group of distinguished business leaders in the greater Arlington area examine all completed applications to determine the winners each year.
