Growing the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
The Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Arlington ISD and is proud to offer the “What’s Your Big Idea?” Entrepreneurship Contest. The “What’s Your Big Idea?” Entrepreneurship Contest (WYBIEC) is a curriculum-based contest created by kids for kids. Sixteen years later, the WYBIEC is still fostering the entrepreneurial spirit in 3rd-12th graders.
This contest has and continues to challenge and empower tens of thousands of students to think big and dream even bigger by thinking critically to produce creative solutions to everyday challenges and problems. These skills are vital to our workforce and the future success of our community. Not only does this contest provide real-life skills, but it's FUN too.

Submitting an Entry? Here is What You Need to Know!
Physical Entries
Step 1: Ensure all entries have the required ENTRY FORM stapled as page one with parent/guardian signature. (this is to ensure proper release of student information)
Step 2: Organize your student entries by GRADE, CATEGORY & LANGUAGE. (ex: 3rd grade, Art, English).
Step 3: Deliver entries to the Greater Arlington Chamber at 505 E. Border Street Arlington, TX 76010 by 5:00pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
Electronic Entries
Step 1: Student & Parent/Guardian must complete the electronic ENTRY FORM. (this is to ensure proper release of student information)
Step 2: Label the file attachment with the STUDENT LAST NAME, FIRST NAME-GRADE-CATEGORY (ex: Smith,John-3rdGrade-Art).
Step 3: Click Submit
