North Texas Technology Council (NTTC)
The North Texas Technology Council (NTTC) is a non-profit member-based organization that supports and adds value to the North Texas technology community by:
Promoting the technology industry in North Texas,
Fostering collaboration among technology organizations and institutions,
Helping drive the success of member companies in their fields,
Providing a diverse forum for building recognition of North Texas as a global leader in technology development and commercialization,
Creating recognition for North Texas as a leading and premier technology region in which to locate, launch and grow a technology business.
NTTC Goals:
1. Build a strong public image for the technology community in North Texas by promoting industry stars, products, technologies and member companies.
2. Promote North Texas as a place for technology companies to start, locate, grow, prosper, invest, work, live and play.
3. Serve our members and the technology community at-large by providing training, education and support programs.
4. Foster collaboration among the diverse technology organizations and institutions in North Texas.
5. Create opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaboration between members assisting organizations and institutions research, develop and commercialize world class technologies leveraging industry, academic and government resources.
6. Support the formation and retention of new and emerging technology businesses and encourage technology companies to expand to North Texas.
7. Alert, advise and educate members as to public policy issues affecting technology and the impact of proposed legislation on the technology community and provide a forum for interaction with government agencies and regulatory boards to improve their understanding of the needs of the technology community.
8. Build enthusiasm for careers in technology and partner with educational institutions in the North Texas region to develop internship programs and premier technology research and development programs that will serve as a major draw for talent and business.
